ซึ่งสำคัญมากๆในข้อสอบภาษาอังกฤษ ข้อสอบโทอิค
Will/Would;
1.Will+V1 (บอกเหตุการณ์หรือแผนการในอนาคต) She will finish her work soon.
2.Would+V1 (ใช้ในประโยคเงื่อนไข) If I had a car,I would drive to you.
3.Would like+to+V1(อยากจะ) /Would like+Noun (ต้องการ)
He would like to visit her. They would like a jet ski.
4.Would like+กรรม+to+V1: We would like you to help now.
5.Would you mind+V.ing(ขอร้อง) : Would you mind opening the window?
Shall/should
1.I/We+shall+V1: I shall go to London next week.
2.Shall I/We+V1+?: Shall we stay here tonight?
3.Should (ควรจะ) : You should obey your parents.
Can/Could
1.Can+V1: They can have lunch on time.
2.Could+V1(รูปอดีต) : She could play tennis last year.
3.Could+you+V1(ขอร้อง): Could you pass me sugar?
4.Can/Could+ I+V1+?(ขออนุญาต): Can/Could I use your phone?
5.Can/Could+I+have+Noun+?(ขอบางสิ่งบางอย่าง): Can/Could I have a pen?
May/Might
1.May/Might+V1(อาจจะ): She may/might buy a new house.
2.May+I+V1(ขออนุญาต): May I go out?
Must
1.must+v1: You must come with me. (บังคับ)
2.Must not+V1: You mustn’t tell a lie! (บังคับ)
3.Must+have+V3: He must have finished his project this week! (บังคับ)
Has to/Have to
1.Has to/Have to+V1: We have to sit here for awhile. (ไม่บังคับ)
2.Don’t have to+V1: The children don’t have to stay home on Sunday. (ไม่บังคับ)
Ought to
1.Ought to+V1: I ought to fix the car before the night falls.
2.Ought+not+to+v1: You oughtn’t to get up late.
Need/Dare
1.Need/Dare+to+V1/V.ing: She dares swimming/to swim alone at night.
2.Needn’t+V1: The teacher needn’t to use that book.
Used to
1.Used to+V1(เคยทำในอดีต): He used to be a doctor.
2.Didn’t use to +V1 (ไม่เคยทำในอดีต): She didn’t use to eat that food.
3.To be used to+V.ing (คุ้นเคยกับสิ่งนั้น): We are used to staying in the dorm.
Had better/Would rather
Had better+V1(ชอบมากกว่า): Tony had better stay home on holidays.
Would rather+v1[than] (ควรจะ ดีกว่า): I would rather have steak than fish.
